The Hunger Games

I only recently found out about the existance of the Hunger Games. The one good thing about only recently discovering it was that by the time I'd devoured the first book in just a few hours, the remaining two books were also already out and I didn't have to wait for them to be released. I think if I would had to have waited between books, it would have driven me a bit insane. Instead I was able to read all three back to back without putting them down, and boy did I love them. (I still need to see the movie, but I am very excited about it!!)

Anyway, after reading the books I knew I had to stitch something up. This is the first part of my Hunger Games stitching. The Mockingjay from the cover of the first book. I made the pattern myself using KGStitch, and I have the covers from the other two books still in progress. I'm thinking of turning it into a wall hanging once they all finished. Stitched on 14 count aida.
